Who We Are

A little bit about who we are as women and mothers:

Hello! I’m Raffaella. I am a mother of one beautiful baby girl one beast of a dog and wife to one bearded man. I have always been a caretaker at heart. I have worked with children my whole life. From babysitting to following my passion towards a degree in Early Childhood Education and certification in CrossFit and CrossFit Kids.

In my heart of hearts I believe that we can change the world by loving our young and being available to guide them selflessly through life. I mean this as a culture, society, parents, neighbors, and people. At times it is far from easy, under so many circumstances it is incredibly challenging but that is where support comes in. After the birth of my daughter, my perspective shifted as I researched and observed motherhood from conception and on and have seen so many cracks in the many systems of our society.

A fire has been lit under me and I want to light it under you. It is time to throw ice breakers out there and shatter the glass around the assumptions, expectations, and ideals around parenthood. I am excited to share my experiences with you all and open doors to conversations that need to take place in order to create support systems for us all.

Hey there, I’m Roxy.  For as far back as I can remember, I’ve been passionate about learning how and why we do the things we do, and studying thought processes and emotions. This led me to receiving a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Social behavior from UCI, and a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) from Pepperdine University.

For the last several years I’ve been fortunate to work in a number of diverse settings with people from different walks of life. With a devoted hubby, and being a proud mama of a two year-old, I can first-hand understand and respect how challenging and amazing parenthood can be.

Hi, my name is Noa and my passions for health, nutrition, and the arts have been a personal journey of mine. Having Celiac disease as a young girl, back when it wasn’t even a disease, with bad cramps that took me on nightly visits to the Emergency Room, just to be looked at as a crazy person and be sent home, made me start listening to my body and take charge of my own health.

One kid, one on the way and a loving hubby later, I became a graduate of the largest nutrition school in the world, The Integrative Nutrition Institute. I am a certified yoga instructor with a BA in performing arts, which has led me down a path as a music specialist working in private schools of Los Angeles.

We are three mothers on a mission to create a safe haven for so many of us experiencing parenthood in it’s most honest form. Let us vent, cry, laugh, brag, and express every other emotion with one another. We hope to inspire one another to use our voices to share and support one another in this wild, wonderful world of parenthood.
